Bring Capital Group Inc., operating as BCG Residential ("BCG," "we," "us"), acquires residential property as principal. This notice explains in plain language what happens to personal information when a homeowner visits our site, responds to an ad, messages our Facebook Page, submits a Meta Instant Form, or asks us to review a property.
We handle personal information under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable to cross-border or interprovincial commercial activity, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Commercial electronic messages are also subject to Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, messages and communication preferences;
- Property details: address, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, occupancy or tenancy, mortgage category, preferred timing, notes and information you choose to provide about your situation;
- Buyer information, where relevant: company, property criteria, target areas, price range, funding method and proof-of-funds status;
- Consent records: the notice shown, choice made, date, source page and withdrawal or unsubscribe history;
- Visit and attribution data: page, referring source, campaign parameters (UTMs), Meta click identifiers, browser/device information, IP address and basic server logs; and
- Ad and messaging data: information submitted through a Meta Instant Form or Facebook/Messenger conversation.
Please do not include government identification numbers, banking credentials, medical details or other information that is not needed for an initial property conversation.
2. How we use your information
- Respond to your request by phone, email, SMS or Messenger and arrange a property review;
- Assess whether the property may fit our acquisition criteria, discuss options, prepare a possible offer and, if you choose, support due diligence and closing;
- Deliver a guide or requested buyer information and administer buyer criteria;
- Create and maintain a contact and opportunity record, avoid duplicate records, document consent and provide customer service;
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and systems, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations; and
- Attribute inquiries to campaigns and measure advertising, but only use Meta Pixel and Conversions API when you allow optional Meta measurement.
3. Consent and communications
When you submit a property request, you ask BCG to contact you about that request using the contact methods you provide. That service-related consent is not consent to unrelated marketing. If we want to send separate promotional messages, we will seek consent when required by CASL.
You may withdraw consent or ask us to stop at any time. Reply STOP to an SMS, use the unsubscribe link in a commercial email, or contact us below. We will act on CASL unsubscribe requests within the required period. Withdrawal will not affect handling already completed and may prevent us from continuing a requested review or transaction.
4. Cookies, the Meta pixel, and analytics
Essential site functions and first-party campaign parameters help the form work and tell us the general source of a request. Optional Meta measurement is different: the Meta Pixel records website events in your browser, while Meta Conversions API can send a matching server event containing hashed contact identifiers plus device, IP, click and browser data. Meta uses this data under its own terms to match events, report conversions and improve advertising.
Meta measurement runs only after you select Allow Meta measurement. If you decline, the form still works and BCG does not send its Lead event to Meta. You can reopen “Cookie choices” in the footer at any time. Clearing browser storage may reset the choice.
5. How we store and share your information
Our funnel may pass information through the following categories of providers:
- Meta: Facebook/Messenger lead collection and optional Pixel/Conversions API advertising measurement;
- HighLevel / LeadConnector: customer relationship management, contact deduplication, workflows, forms and communications;
- Supabase: lead database and secure record storage;
- Vercel: website hosting, server functions and operational logs;
- Resend and communications providers: requested email, SMS or telephone communications; and
- Google Workspace, where enabled: an operational lead sheet and business communications.
We may also disclose relevant information to lawyers, inspectors, contractors, lenders, title or closing professionals when you ask us to progress a transaction, and to regulators, law enforcement or other parties where authorized or required by law. If the business is reorganized or sold, information may be transferred subject to applicable safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or provide homeowner information to unrelated marketers. Providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws and lawful access processes of that jurisdiction. BCG remains responsible for selecting providers and using contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the information.
6. Data retention
We retain a lead record only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate the opportunity, maintain consent and communication history, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet tax, corporate, contract or other legal requirements. A completed transaction may require longer retention than an inquiry that does not proceed. We periodically review records and securely delete or anonymize information when those purposes no longer require it. Service providers may keep backup or security copies for limited periods under their own retention schedules.
7. Access, correction and complaints
Subject to lawful exceptions, you may ask for access to your personal information, request a correction, ask how it has been used or disclosed, withdraw consent, or complain about our handling of it. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we cannot fully grant a request, we will explain why where the law permits.
8. Security
We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, role-based access, restricted production credentials, service-provider controls and record-level database protections. No system is perfectly secure. We investigate suspected incidents and will notify Alberta's privacy regulator and affected individuals when legally required.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a new purpose requires fresh consent, we will ask before using information for that purpose.
